Brain in Motion: Participatory Dementia Prevention
Interactive participatory Event
How simple exercises challenge the brain and offer a new way to experience coordination
Life Kinetik combines simple movements with unusual coordinative and cognitive tasks. The focus is not on athletic performance or fitness, but on the playful development of attention, perception, and motor control.
Following a hands-on session, a scientific keynote presentation explains which processes are triggered in the brain during these activities and why the combination of movement and mental stimulation can make an important contribution to healthy aging and dementia prevention. Another hands-on session deepens the participants’ experience before the event concludes with an Q&A session.
No prior experience or special athletic skills are required. The number of active participants is limited to approximately 30 people. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
