An artistic journey through the science, history, and sound of hydrogen — from splitting water to global megaprojects — inviting new reflections on energy, technology, and nature.

This installation explores the technological beauty and contradictions in the vision of splitting water into oxygen and hydrogen, and then using the hydrogen as an energy source. It investigates the soundscapes, systems and materials around hydrogen, following its story from early experiments to today’s large projects and production methods. Through different layers, it builds an abstract, changing self-portrait that links places and materials of hydrogen, and invites people to think about energy, technology, and nature.
