Are sharks really as dangerous as many people think? What happens to water in zero gravity? And could you spot fake news?

In the “PUR+” Live Lab, Eric Mayer—known from the ZDF science show “PUR+”— takes children and families on an interactive expedition through the world of knowledge. Together, they’ll guess, vote, experiment, and marvel. Exciting video clips, mind-blowing experiments, and extraordinary experiences from the show ensure plenty of “aha” moments.

But it’s not just about getting the right answer. Eric shows why our gut feelings are sometimes wrong, how artificial intelligence arrives at its conclusions, and why it’s worth critically questioning information. Who can spot real news? Who gets fooled? And how do you figure out what’s really true?

In the “PUR+” Live Lab, viewers are right in the thick of it when baffling questions meet surprising answers, helping them better understand the world.

Experience instead of just knowledge: With the “PUR+” Live Lab.

The “PUR+” show is aimed at children and teens ages 8 to 13.

After the show, there will be a meet-and-greet with Eric Mayer.
