Meet Mother: a mysterious being who sits in a room and spends her time drawing animals that come to life. As she frames and hangs each picture on the wall, a forest appears around each animal and the pictures soon fill up the entire wall. However, disaster strikes: Mother makes an ink blot and creates Wolfie, a little wolf with an inky nose, who starts running around and making a huge mess.

Will Mother be able to fix the chaos that Wolfie brought into her perfectly balanced little world? Will Wolfie learn to keep clean and tidy? Or will it turn out that his inky nose is actually not a flaw, but a great gift?
