Zu viel Energie in der Atmosphäre

Without the atmosphere, Earth would be uninhabitable—too cold, too hostile. It stores heat like a greenhouse and makes life possible. But this balance is being disrupted. We are adapted to the stable climate of the Holocene. Now the atmosphere is changing—because of us. While the climate has always changed, it has never done so this quickly or due to human activity.
What does “too much energy” in the atmosphere mean? How does it change the weather? And what does it mean for our future?
Özden Terli explains why we are already living in a new atmosphere—with new extreme weather. A lecture for anyone who wants to understand what is happening right now and why it affects us all.
