Making the world a better place – what could be more important? This session will feature excerpts from the three-part Terra X documentary series, 'What Makes the World a Better Place: Peace, Freedom, Justice', followed by a discussion with Terra X host and science journalist Mirko Drotschmann (MrWissen2go).
As part of the Science Year 2025, the “Future Energy: Minecraft Competition” invited children, young people, and adults to design their vision of the energy system of the future in Minecraft or Luanti/Minetest. The winners will be announced and awarded at the Silbersalz Festival.

The 8th SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival will begin with a festive opening ceremony, followed by a lecture from Dr Mai Thi Nguyen-Kim, who inspires a passion for science.
