Climate in Therapy
Climate in Therapy

Seven climate scientists meet in a godforsaken meeting room to engage in circle therapy about their shared climate anxiety. Can emotional honesty be part of the solution? Open a bottle of climate anxiety. Pour the contents into a hot pot under high pressure. Then add a teaspoon of horror, a tablespoon of anger and three drops of deep disappointment in humanity.
‘Climate in Therapy’ is a humorous, inventive and serious experiment in which seven climate scientists go for group therapy in a godforsaken hotel. Here they confront an academic taboo and a hitherto unknown area of research in itself: their own emotions. Therapist Richard Beck faces a tricky task with the scientists, who are much better at talking about natural disasters than what’s burning inside themselves. But who knows, maybe climate disaster can be solved if the knots in ourselves can be untied?
